time at pub last night, mate?' |

'Patty
and I met at art college back in '96. Anyways, that's what
all them fookin rockers say about how they met, don't they?
Actually we met at bloody Starbucks across the street from
art college, cos I ain't never been to no bloody college.'
'I
was tossin about behind counter makin all them fancy tall
lattes and fook all, here walks in Patty with his hair all
hanging down one side of his gob and wearing flannels and
all. He had a military bag for his bloody college books
but he had one of them Imperial insignia badges on it from
fookin Star Wars, didn't he? I thought "here's a right
wanker" and asked him where he got it from. Since then
we been mates sure as fook! And it just so happens we both
like synthesizers and all! So we started thrashin about
and look where it's got us. Still no bloody tour.'
'I
started out singin, all Depeche Mode and a bit of flash
... more like fookin Pet Shop Boys and Erasure had a right
bastard for a son! So I said "sod that, we'll have
a go at it without words and all" and here we are.'

| 'Cor,
here's the art college ponce with the black and
white bloody gob!' |
|
'Col
always hates that I went to bleedin art college. Like I'm
a right poof for havin a go of it! But what's a band without
a little creative difference, what I say.'
'Once
I went round to his parents house and saw his collection
of Dapol Dalek figures, that was bloody all said and done.
I knew right then and there we was meant to be mates. He
had the fookin Five Doctors Radio Times cover bloody
FRAMED above his bureau. I reached in me bag and pulled
out the VHS of Capricorn One I'd just picked up at the Who
Shop, and we knew right then what our band name would be.
Sod all if Telly Savalas ain't the best fookin american
actor there ever was!'
'Now
that we've done away with the bloody vocals, I think we've
got a right chance of makin it in the microsound world.
If bloody Autechre can, we sure as fook can!'
'I
just want to thank our best mate Flibber
for doing this web site for us. Gobs better than the bloody
one I started back in '96, all <H1> tags and bloody
tiled granite background ponce. Fookin hell.'
