San Diego artist and Bremsstrahlung recordings founder Josh Russell's ub_cus is a full-length piece in three movements. An organic mixture of bubbling grains of raw sound, manipulated source recordings and waves of synthesized drones serves to both root the piece in a particular moment and also propel it forward on a journey through a multitude of sonic spaces.
