London-based electronic composer Thanos Chrysakis presents a new set of music inspired by mysterious landscape. The three "inscapes" of Enchanted Mountains display a variety of points of view, from closeups to yawning chasms, the pieces offer a stratified, fractured reflection of magical topography. Sweeping synthesizers, crackling electronics, and tremolo choral snippets envelop the listener in a world of sound that can only be described as enchanted. It should also be noted that Inscape 5, the second track, was selected at the International Competition de Musique et d'Art Sonore Electroacoustiques de Bourges 2005.
