Glenn
Bach is a writer, visual artist, and composer who maps the sonic
terrain of the city. Encompassing the act of walking, his work engages
in a poetic dialogue between text, photography, and sound collage.
By liberating ordinarily inaudible sounds from the apparent silence
between sonic events, he embraces the substance of negative space
in an alchemical exploration of the deep aural signature of the
urban landscape. His work appears in several online collaborations,
and is archived on his website, www.csulb.edu/~gbach.
