A co-founder of Milwaukee's topscore label, James Schoenecker (aka pressboard) creates abstract digital minimalism, video game artifacts and processed hi-contrast synthesis. He has performed extensively in the Midwest US and New York, recently appearing at NYC's tonic for the New No York series.

Along with topscore's j minor, Schoenecker records and performs under the name dartanjal. Together they have performed extensively throughout the U.S. including multiple appearances at New York's Safety In Numbers (SIN) Festival.

Schoenecker's topscore label is currently at work on a new series of uniquely packaged audio + video releases focusing on digital minimalism entitled range.
