Hal Rammel is a composer/performer, visual artist and author specializing in the exploration of unusual sound sources including music from found objects and invented instruments. His work has been featured on a number of CDs on his own label Penumbra Music (Grafton, WI). He has performed with Steve Nelson-Raney, Michael Zerang, Jon Mueller, Lou Mallozzi, the Nihilist Spasm Band, and many others.
