this still life consists of found objects at the main post-office in Gifu, Japan. The main object being the interest - an exchange rate display - is surrounded by other objects like the customer comment box, changing address forms, orange balls, and postboard (all objects where organized into place except for the interest rate display). Any given still life exists within some context be it the artist studio or in this case the post-office. The context is what becomes the focus of the audio piece as opposed to the particular objects. While objects can usually avoid temporality in a visual work, sound cannot and will lead us to the context of the objects instead.
