The title, " dd " means Dream of the Dog. The track is a still-life of Hachiko, a statue of a dog in Shibuya, which is the most famous meeting spot in Japan. There is a famous story about Hachiko. The dog was waiting for his owner in front of the station for many weeks, but he couldn't meet him because the owner had an accident when he came back to the station. "dd" was made with a field recording of the sound in front of the statue of Hachiko on one afternoon in February 2003. The sounds were then processed and edited with a computer.
